Rob Heath

Principal Consultant

Rob joined Oxford Insights in 2020 and is a Principal Consultant and project manager. Rob is experienced leading research teams exploring technology policy, engaging with communities of academics and industry experts, and also supporting organisational strategy and change.

Notable recent projects that Rob has recently led include work for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) forming an advisory committee and running roundtables with academics on the topic of Digital Development and index building; for the UK Government’s Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) interviewing experts on the commercialisation of Artificial Intelligence research; and also the UK’s national security community looking at the Quantum Hub network and UK Quantum technology development. 

Rob also led a review of the timetabling process at the University of the Arts London, focusing on the impact of timetabling issues on students with additional needs and responsibilities.

Prior to joining Oxford Insights, Rob worked in arts education and event management, and was the operations manager of an internationally recognised classical music festival. He holds degrees in Philosophy from the University of York and the University of Durham.
