Lina Jahidi

Lina is a Consultant at Oxford Insights with a strong academic background in International Political Economy, having recently completed a Master of Arts from King’s College London. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Politics & International Relations from Oxford Brookes University. For her dissertation, Lina explored the delicate balancing act of Gulf countries as they navigate their role as global oil suppliers while pursuing energy transition goals, and how these dynamics shape their relationships with the US and China. Lina has a particular interest in the role of AI in the MENA region, especially its applications in the energy sector and for enhancing urban safety. She speaks French, English, and Moroccan Arabic (Darija) fluently and has a strong understanding of Classical Arabic. Outside of work, Lina enjoys playing a variety of sports, traveling, and meeting new people, and is always eager to explore different cultures and ideas.
