Laura McIsaac-Bailey


Laura is a consultant at Oxford Insights. She has experience in leading on research methodologies and has previously worked in the education sector in school libraries, information services provision, independent learning and literacy. She is particularly invested in projects that touch on these areas, but also very interested in work advancing understanding the relationship between young people, technology and mental health.

Laura holds a BA in English Language and Literature and a MA in Medieval Literature and Language from King’s College London. She has also undertaken postgraduate research in gender identity, critical theory and Anglo-Saxon hagiography, alongside teaching undergraduate programmes in Language Theory and Medieval Literary Culture. During her time at King’s, Laura was also awarded the Associateship of King’s College London for completing an inclusive, research-lead programme in Theology and Ethics.

In her free time, Laura is a voracious reader, has a small calligraphy obsession, and loves writing poetry by the sea.
