Gonzalo Grau

Gonzalo Grau is a consultant at Oxford Insights. Previously, he has worked in the Football Operations team at UEFA, and has carried out research projects on social policy for the Basque Government.

He holds a first class degree in PPE from the University of Warwick, where he developed an interest in questions of justice in international development. This led him to pursue an MA at the European University Institute in Florence, where his dissertation involved qualitative analysis of the risks involved in using algorithmic credit scoring tools to promote financial inclusion in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Outside of work, Gonzalo is a self-described music nerd, collecting records across all genres. He enjoys cooking, reading obscure Latin American literature, and playing football.
