Eleonora Lamm

Eleonora Lamm is Oxford Insights’ International Project Lead. She has more than 20 years of experience in the ethical governance of technology, artificial intelligence, and gender equality. Eleonora has held senior roles at UNESCO, and served as a gender expert for UN Women, and as a researcher at the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Eleonora has advised governments, courts, and international organisations on AI governance, digital policy, human rights, gender equality, and bioethics, contributing to the drafting of legislation and translating complex ethical principles into actionable public policy and institutional change.

At UNESCO, she led the global Women4Ethical AI platform, and the regional implementation of the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of AI for Latin America and the Caribbean, advising national legislation and designing policy across the region.

A prolific scholar, Eleonora is the author of more than 160 publications and numerous UN reports, has delivered 70+ courses and workshops across Latin America and Europe, and has spoken at over 150 conferences in more than 30 countries.

She holds a PhD in Bioethics and Law, and Master’s degrees in Bioethics and Law and in Family Law from the University of Barcelona.
